If your process is already established, we can design modifications to ensure optimization.

For testing a concept on the bench or pilot scale, we access top-quality laboratories, with high ceilings for tower designs, vent hoods, and utilities such as steam and de-ionized water. Using test data, along with fundamental thermodynamic properties, we perform mass and energy balance analysis to ensure that the new process concept has potential for commercialization. AMI then translates the less-efficient batch process into a continuous process, which is more stable, requires smaller equipment and is more energy-efficient.

In commercial scale-up, we establish duty specifications for each unit operation and identify available or custom equipment options. We then develop budget estimates, timelines and plans for building the process. With these steps finalized, AMI lines up the appropriate resources to execute the project and assist with commercialization.

AMI also assists with bringing the new process to market, developing marketing materials, identifying funding resources, and creating patent and literature summaries.
