AMI is looking for a mechanical engineer – FE analyst responsible for conducting and/or overseeing all finite element analysis work on industrially sponsored projects.
Specific activities include: finite element analysis in ANSYS and Pro/Mechanica, design optimization, test fixture design, laboratory and field testing, and design validation. Specific qualifications include: B.S. in mechanical or agricultural engineering, M.S. degree preferred, and one to three years experience with finite element analysis of structures. Desirable attributes include: excellent communication/problem solving skills and ability to work independently.
