Challenge:

Shield Ag, a manufacturer and distributor of tillage tools and hardware, wanted to expand its product line to include a coulter blade assembly, and needed engineering support.

Solution:

Shield Ag came to AMI to reverse engineer the various parts of a coulter blade assembly. AMI measured and created drawings for each component. This relatively small project resulted in a new product line for Shield Ag, which generated a large volume of sales.
