Challenge:

AirLock Aviation Security Systems, founded by the owner of Winner Aviation, an industry leader in aviation maintenance, developed a new lock and key technology called the AirLock that allows programmable access to any area of a plane. Hawker Beechcraft aided in the certification of the project, and acted as a launch partner by installing the AirLock in its King Air series of planes. To drive the product’s success in the marketplace, the group needed research and commercialization support.
